The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Jakarta has a vacancy for a Participant Training Specialist, with the starting salary Rp 13, 197, 479 depending on the qualification and experience. The Participant Training Specialist serves as the deputy advisor to Mission Management, Government of Indonesia (GOI) officials, the private sector and partners in all matters concerning participant training, including participant training policies and procedures. The Participant Training Specialist manages USAID Indonesia’s participant training program by coordinating the selection of candidates, processing applications and working in coordination with the Deputy Director of the Program Office on the implementation of the program and the progress of candidates training in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualification required:
1. Bachelor’s degree is required but Master’s degree preferred in a relevant field.
2. Minimum seven years relevant experience with U.S. or third country international student programs is required. At least two years of USAID experience in project design, management and implementation, and budgeting or three years of participant training in the U.S. or another develop country and administration, and development experience with another organization.
3. Level IV (fluent) in speaking / reading / writing both in English and Indonesian is required.
4. Must have advanced knowledge of Indonesian politics, economics, and/or social environment is required. Must have good working knowledge of U.S. political institutions and processes highly desirable. Must have good knowledge of U.S. or third country higher education systems.
5. Must be proficient with Microsoft application such as Word, Excel, and Power Point.
